SABINA
Sabina, originally from Oaxaca, has dedicated many years of her life to the art of backstrap loom weaving, a craft she deeply loves. She is incredibly proud to support her family thanks to the pieces she creates with her own hands. However, she worries that imitations from China threaten her work and regrets that her children haven't learned the backstrap loom craft.

AMELIA
Amelia and her family, originally from Santo Tomás Jalieza, have inherited the art of the backstrap loom. They make belts and other products using this ancient technique, preserving the textile tradition of their community.
